I really do want just to say I have owned one, but I know it would be the worst decision I have made in the past 15 minutes. 88 Yugo GVX, extra set o Lancia wheels. Supposedly one of the years that these cars weren't utter shit. My brain hurts. Slippery slope right here. If I go deep I know of a pretty nice Renault Alliance GTA that would make a good stable mate...
$1500...FML

This would be perfect to replace my probably-junkyard-bound tercel...

Absolute best plan: buy Yugo, and then commit a string of homicides you'd really like to happen. Claim insanity - you'll walk. And you'll be homicides + Yugo ahead of the game.

Step 1: Buy cheap Yugo
Step 2: Source Toyota Corolla All-Trac drivetrain
Step 3: Swap
Step 4: ???
Step 5: Profit!!

hahahaha I am dying right now. Might be the best plan ever.
A crafty defense lawyer "but he said it was a GVX model and thought that was better, so he really is insane"

profit? though I swear if this car was $999 or down I would be at the bank right now. Plenty of all tracs up here that have fallen victim to salt!

Nyet, Kamerad. Obtain Lada Niva. Is *genuine Soviet* 4wd mis-manufactured Fiat.

it is/was a FIAT. it's got the lancia/fiat parts.....buy it and throw on some cheap fiat parts....suddenly you have a 124 turbo!

It's a Yugo, not a Ferrari, silly.

Step 1: Take your money in hand
Step 2: Take out your lighter.
Step3: Burn all your money.
You have now done something smarter than buying that car.

WELL, it is a Czech Fiat, Fiat owns Ferrari, Ferrari go boom. Guess I can extrapolate that out a bit and come up with fire

Take it. They're fun cars that are easy to work on since you can get mechanical parts for them. I don't like the lowering and I'm not sure about that mirror placement, but if you can get it for a grand, you'll have a great time with it. I owned one for a while and besides pieces of the interior constantly falling off, it ran like a top and was great for around town. Also, people laugh and want to talk to you.
